Lighting Up Lives: Our Day at the Domestic Violence Shelter

I want to start by giving you a big shoutout for supporting Board Games for the Better—it means the world to us. We don't have many pictures that we can share since the families in this shelter need to have their identities and location hidden.

We recently teamed up with M&M Angels for something really special! We put together a mental health day for families living in a domestic violence shelter, and man, it was awesome.

While the adults got their groove on with a Zumba class and listened to a speaker talk about self-care, we hung out with the kids, playing board games and having a blast. Seriously, the laughter and smiles were contagious.

After all the activities, we all gathered for lunch, and it was just a beautiful moment of community coming together.

Oh, and here's the cherry on top—we gave each family 10 board games to take with them. Something to brighten their days and keep the fun going, even after the event. It's moments like these that remind us why we do what we do. And none of it would have been possible without your support. So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
