A Legacy of Joy: Honoring David Bower's Extraordinary Donation

We are deeply moved and incredibly grateful to share the news of a monumental donation that will enable us to expand our reach and touch even more lives.

David Bower, the cherished store owner of Time Warp Comics and Games in New Jersey, was a beloved member of the gaming community. His passing left a void in the hearts of those who knew him. In a beautiful gesture that speaks to his passion and generosity, David’s family and friends have chosen to donate his extensive collection of board games, card games, puzzles, and expansions to our organization. This collection, numbering an astonishing 2,157 items, is the largest donation we have ever received.

This incredible gift is already making a difference. Some of these games have been distributed to children in foster care, bringing smiles and creating moments of joy in their lives. Others are set to be shipped to a nonprofit organization that serves veterans, providing them with much-needed opportunities for social engagement and mental relaxation.

David Bower’s collection is not just a donation; it’s a lifeline. Board games have the power to alleviate stress, enhance mental health, and foster strong social connections. Thanks to David’s passion for games and the generosity of his family, so many more people will experience these benefits. His legacy will live on through the laughter, camaraderie, and healing that these games will bring to countless individuals.

We extend our deepest condolences to David Bower’s family and friends. Your loss is profound, and we are honored to help carry forward David’s love for board games. His spirit of generosity and his commitment to sharing joy will be felt by many for years to come.

We invite everyone who believes in our mission to join us in this journey. Together, we can continue to bring joy, relieve stress, and build connections through the simple yet powerful act of playing games.

If you wish to support our cause and help us continue this important work, please consider making a donation. Your contributions make it possible for us to spread the joy and benefits of board games far and wide.

The process of logging and organizing all these games took around 8 days!

Here’s what it looked like as we began our 8-day journey…

Making progress!

So many games!
