Gifts of Joy: Our Holiday Donation to the Bronx Children’s PSychiatric Center

This past holiday season, Board Games for the Better extended the gift of play to the children at The Bronx Children's Psychiatric Center by donating 78 board games and puzzles to the children in their care. These carefully selected games were chosen for their potential to provide therapeutic benefits, offering a much-needed outlet for positive social engagement and mental health support.

Board games have long been recognized for their ability to bring people together, creating lasting memories and offering a break from the challenges of everyday life. For children facing mental health struggles, the positive impact of engaging in board games goes beyond mere entertainment. Board games encourage communication, teamwork, and the development of essential social skills.

The Bronx Children's Psychiatric Center serves as a haven for children navigating the complexities of mental health. Board Games for the Better believes in the ability board games have to facilitate connection and healing. By providing these board games and puzzles, our aim is to create an environment where children can build connections, experience joy, and find solace in the company of others.

We would like to thank the community of supporters and donors who made this donation possible. It is through your generosity that we can continue to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. This donation to The Bronx Children's Psychiatric Center reflects the strength of a community coming together to support one another.

We at Board Games for the Better remain committed to our mission of using board games to bring joy, connection, and therapeutic benefits to those facing various challenges. We look forward to more opportunities to spread smiles, create connections, and make a positive impact on mental health through the joy of board games.
